We need an equally passionate TAX Manager to join our Corporate Tax team. Reporting to the Global Tax Director, this position will be responsible for managing all aspects of VAT and other indirect taxes for our European subsidiaries.

Key Job Responsibilities
Manage, prepare, and review indirect tax compliance (primarily VAT) for our European subsidiaries.
Liaise with, and manage VAT compliance and audit inquiries from the tax authorities
Provide guidance and advice on indirect tax questions from the operating divisions
Review, improve, and optimize indirect tax compliance processes and controls, including the documentation of the indirect tax control framework.
The ability to perform technical research and prepare written documentation supporting your analysis and conclusions
Monitor indirect tax legislative changes in Europe and provide input into policies and procedures to ensure compliance
Act as subject matter expert in supporting IT implementation projects
Other duties as assigned
8+ years of relevant indirect tax experience and can effectively work with cross functional teams both within Europe and globally.
Strong knowledge of tax laws and proficient in performing and documenting technical research.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or Information Technology.
Professional certifications or graduate degrees strongly preferred, but not required.
Process and technology oriented with proven record of leveraging technology to drive process improvement.
Ability to manage and coordinate multiple complex assignments.
SAP (ECC) experience a plus.
Some travel may be required from time to time (<5%).
Excellent written and oral communication skills and fluent in speaking English is a must.
Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer-service orientation.
Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and non-technical language.
Highly self-motivated and directed.
A leadership presence in an individual contributor role
Keen attention to detail.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
